Such a "weird"-cool surprising place to check all kind of stuff, either for yourself, to decorate, to give it to someone or for simply curiosity, it worth the visit if you're walking by, the staff is nice, with a good vibe and welcoming.

What a nifty store full of oddities. Lost track of time as I browsed around since there is always some other cool looking treasure to be found. Would recommend popping in to see what you can find too!

Paxton Gate is such an incredible and curious shop. I have so many items in my elementary classroom that I use to help teach kids about certain aspects of zoology, dinosaurs, and the natural world. They offer incredibly unique items that any curious patron, be they adult or guest, would love and be fascinated by. I tell everyone I know about this company and browse their site often looking for new and exciting things. They take so much care in their packaging that everything I have received arrive in perfect condition.

A small but well curated shop of oddities. The front half is an oddities and curiosities shop ands the back has a nice selection of houseplants. The staff are super nice too. If you're in the area check it out. You won't regret it.

A lovely little shop of curiosities, plants and crystals. Very friendly service and very affordable to shop. Their back area if full of beautiful plants and books that show you how to handle your plants. The taxidermy throughout the store is fascinating as well as the handmade designer jewelry. Highly recommend

Just too many questions lure you into this shop of true curios. If you need something for one of those folks who have everything, you will find it here. Great place to lose yourself amongst all the cool stuff. I particularly like the moss wall hangings. Will be back for sure.

Great place for the unique gift, for a special someone or yourself! Always stop there when I'm in town. Their website has a 360 tour of the store. Doesn't do it justice! But a great way to explore it if you are not close.

My girlfriend sent me this as an early surprise valentines day gift and I love it! I already made necklaces out of the canine and bison teeth, and the other stuff has been put on display with my other bones

This was a really cool and unique eclectic store. It was worth going to and spending the time to walk around. The employees were also super knowledgeable in the various things they sold, which was cool to learn things from them as well.

I love this store. It carries such a variety of unique things. It's definitely pricey, but you don't see the stuff in there everywhere. I love the selection of stones, bones, art, plants, jewelry, kids toys and other trinkets. The store carries some ghoulish but tasteful quirky pieces. Being that's its expensive I bought one thing which I thought was pretty reasonable. It was about $35. It's a beautiful plant attached wood. I absolutely love this piece I am adding to my home and plant collection. I just hope I can keep it alive! I'll definitely return to Paxton Gate one day when I can treat myself. I only left out a star because the staff barely looks up when you're standing in front of them. I stood at the register and the man that rang me up barely said two words. And again, it's pricey however I do like to support local businesses when I can. Especially post pandemic.

Such an amazing store, filled top to bottom with so many cool things to see. Definitely a unique store with items made by local artists, plants, books, bones, gemstones, natural history, kids curiosities and more. It's like a urban treasure hunt.

This store certainly has everything weird and wonderful. It's one of those store you can browse for hours and still miss stuff.

Lots of character! Sells taxidermy, plants, crystals and more. I can imagine the horns they have would be good for cosplay. They also have a cute bookshelf with books on mushrooms, insects, and design stuffs. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood

I liked the nature inspired gift and gift ideas. Some of my group thought it was kind of pricey, but I disagreed. It seemed reasonable for the type of store and for the new San Francisco. There seemed to be a nice mix of what one would find a a store focused on the weirdness of nature. If you habe friends who appreciate nature and all its quirky beauty, you will probably find something up their alley.

Very good place to visit. The fossils, maps and other skeletons structures were beautiful. I remember I saw the Gray's Anatomy book there, which is still my favorite study book since my graduation.
