The show stopper of any Butterfly collection, the Blue Morpho dazzles all with it's vivid coloration and metallic sheen. These colors are not a result of pigmentation but rather are an example of iridescence. The colors produced vary with viewing angle but they are actually surprisingly uniform. This is perhaps due to the diamond-like structural arrangement of the scales called "photonic crystal".

All Insects vary in size and shape. You will receive a high quality specimen of the selected item but not the exact one pictured. All insects are guaranteed to be top quality and sourced from ethical vendors from around the world.

All orders ship same or next business day with exception to oversized items. Those items will be identified in the description (Items such as large taxidermy, skulls or exceedingly heavy minerals).
