The ulna is one of the two long bones in the forearm, running parallel to the radius from the elbow to the wrist. It plays a key role in stabilizing the forearm and enabling smooth movement at the elbow and wrist. The ulna has several important landmarks, including the olecranon, which forms the point of the elbow, and the trochlear notch, which articulates with the humerus to allow bending and straightening of the arm. Along with the radius, the ulna helps transmit forces from the hand to the upper arm while providing attachment points for muscles that control movement. Essentially, the ulna is a critical part of the forearm’s structure and function, linking the movements of the arm and hand with precision.
Human Bone Laws & Information:
In short, it is perfectly legal to possess and sell human bones in the United States. There are a few exceptions to this: a few states have banned import and export, and of course, any archaeological resources protected by the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
