Sometimes we acquire old antique medical specimens that aren’t in the best shape. Whether it’s bits of old glue, scuffs, or just the wear and tear of time, these specimens have the look of a teaching aid that has been in the classroom for years. Sure, they may not be perfect, but they are still really cool.
To us, it adds character and just shows how much these were used to educate generations of medical professionals, and that, to us, is worth the imperfections.
Human Bone Laws & Information:
In short, it is perfectly legal to possess and sell human bones in the United States. There are a few exceptions to this: a few states have banned import and export, and of course, any archaeological resources protected by the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
