Neolithic bird points are tiny, finely crafted stone arrowheads used by early humans during the Neolithic period, about 10,000 to 4,500 years ago. Despite their small size, these sharp little arrowheads were ideal for hunting birds and small game.

Made from materials like flint, chert, or obsidian—chosen because they were easier to shape into arrowheads—bird points were lightweight and designed for precision, helping hunters take down fast-moving prey. Their delicate barbs and notches highlight the incredible skill of ancient toolmakers. It's amazing to hold one of these and think about how it was carefully shaped by human hands thousands of years ago.

Archaeologists have found these points all over the world, offering a glimpse into the daily lives and hunting techniques of early human societies. They’re a fascinating reminder of how resourceful and adaptable our ancestors were.
