The humerus is the long bone of the upper arm, running from the shoulder to the elbow. Its rounded head fits into the shoulder socket, forming a ball-and-socket joint that allows a wide range of arm movement, while the distal end articulates with the radius and ulna at the elbow. The humerus provides attachment points for muscles that control the shoulder, arm, and forearm, making it essential for lifting, pushing, and rotational movements. As the central structural bone of the upper arm, the humerus plays a crucial role in both strength and mobility.

In short, it is perfectly legal to possess and sell human bones in the United States. There are a few exceptions to this: a few states have banned import and export, and of course, any archaeological resources protected by the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
