We call this little guy the Eyelash Beetle, but it’s actually a real Pine Chafer Beetle preserved in crystal-clear resin. Its scientific name is Polyphylla fullo, and the males have these oversized, fan-like antennae that give them their signature look. They’re found across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.

They feed on pine leaves, which is where the name Pine Chafer comes from. This piece makes a great little educational display, a cool home accent, or a fun addition to any insect collection.

The lucite block measures about 2 3/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide. Since these are real specimens, size, positioning, and color can vary slightly.

All orders ship same or next business day with exception to oversized items. Those items will be identified in the description (Items such as large taxidermy, skulls or exceedingly heavy minerals).
