This strikingly eerie piece features a real bird preserved in crystal-clear resin. This one is a Sunda Zebra Finch (Taeniopygia guttata). While these finches are commonly kept as pets around the world, they’re naturally found in the wild in Indonesia.

It’s a cool educational piece or a unique addition to any Oddities and Curiosities collection. The resin block measures about 4 1/4 inches long by 1 3/4 inches tall.

These birds were captive bred and passed away naturally.
