Wulfenite is a favorite among mineral collectors. It forms outstanding crystals and aggregates in a vibrant color that few minerals can match. Wulfenite forms a series with the rarer mineral Stolzite, which contains tungsten in place of the molybdenum. Wulfenite is a lead molybdate oxide mineral that crystallizes in the form of masses, squares, or small prismatic, and tiny tabular crystals. This mineral is usually golden orange or yellow, but can be found as blue, red, grey, white, and even colorless. The color hues come from tiny traces of chromium within the crystal. Wulfenite forms in heavily oxidized lead deposits and can be found in association with a number of other minerals such as Pyromorphite, Mimetite, Hemimorphite, and Smithsonite. Wulfenite is named in honor of Austrian mineralogist Franz Xavier von Wulfen (1728-1805).
According to Metaphysics: Wulfenite links the solar plexus and sacral chakras, boosting personal will and making dreams feel achievable. It enhances confidence, vitality, and determination, while clarifying your path to success. This stone helps maintain focus and provides the drive needed to complete challenging tasks with concentration and perseverance.
