The art is by Andreas Vesalius (1514–64), an anatomist, physician, and author of one of the most influential books on human anatomy, De humani corporis fabrica (On the Fabric of the Human Body). The art has been scanned and retouched to ensure the highest quality reproduction possible. The art is digitally printed on sustainably produced 100% cotton fiber archival paper. Each print includes an info card about the art.
