Butterflies are already doing a lot of heavy lifting in the “being cool” department. They undergo complete metamorphosis, come in an absurd variety of colors and patterns, and there are more than 17,500 known species scattered around the world. Naturally, we decided to put some of them in frames.

Our assorted butterfly collections feature a mix of real specimens, selected for their color, pattern, shape, and general ability to make you stop and stare at them for a while. No two collections are exactly alike, so each frame ends up with its own strange little assortment.

The specimens are pressed between two clear panes of glass, giving them a floating appearance and allowing you to see both sides of the wings. This is particularly rad because the underside of a butterfly can look dramatically different from the top. It's basically two specimens for the price of one. Sort of.

You will receive one of the assorted butterfly collections pictured. Because each collection is made with real specimens, colors, sizes, species, and arrangements will vary. If you're looking for a particular color, leave us a note at checkout and we'll do our best to find one that fits the bill.

As with all natural specimens, expect slight variations, imperfections, and the occasional bit of weirdness. That's part of what makes them cool.

All orders ship same or next business day with exception to oversized items. Those items will be identified in the description (Items such as large taxidermy, skulls or exceedingly heavy minerals).

If the subtotal of your order is over $98 the shipping is free (the discount is applied automatically to the cart at checkout)

If there is an issue with your order or something arrives damaged, we will refund or replace the item.

Oversized items are only available for pick-up or if you arrange the shipping yourself. This will be indicated in the item description.
