Octopus coral is a beautiful white ocean coral. Octopus coral have tentacle-like branches with small cup shaped structures, the branches typically stem out from a central trunk and angle upward. The main branches are typically 1 to 3 inches thick.

This coral forms large, thick colonies composed of interconnected polyps that create a labyrinthine structure. The colonies can vary in color, ranging from shades of brown and green to vibrant hues of orange and pink, depending on environmental factors such as light and water quality.

Octopus Coral is found in shallow tropical waters throughout the Indo-Pacific region, including the Red Sea, the Great Barrier Reef, and various islands in the Pacific Ocean. It typically inhabits reef slopes and other areas with moderate water movement, where it feeds on plankton and small organic particles.
