If you’ve ever wandered around an old cemetery (and if you’re shopping at Paxton Gate, there’s a very high chance that you have) and become enchanted by the somber yet interesting art carved onto the gravestones, these are for you. These castings were created using real gravestone rubbings from 17th to 21st century gravestones found in cemeteries throughout the New England region. All of these pieces are hand-formed and finished, so each and every one is unique.
The best and probably the most important part is that no gravestone was damaged in the process. While we all love the hauntingly captivating atmosphere of these old burial sites, it’s important that they remain intact and undisturbed. After all, they are hallowed ground and should be treated as such. With these castings, you can bring some of that graveyard magic into your home and keep the real deal safe and sound.
