With its wings open, you can really see all the colors and patterns of this beautiful mantis. It is easy to see why it is commonly called the Jeweled Flower Mantis. This piece makes a great addition to any entomology collection.

Growing to about two inches long, this mantis in resin (Creobroter gemmatus) comes from humid regions and is found widely across Asia. Females can be cannibalistic, though it is not very common, but it does happen more often with this species.

As with all insect specimens, size, shape, and color can vary a bit. We guarantee a quality specimen. The lucite block measures approximately 2 3/4 by 1 1/2 inches.
