Orange Jasper is a semiprecious gemstone from the Quartz family and is among the oldest known gemstones. It is one of the birthstones for those born under the Virgo Sun sign and is also the birthstone for the month of October.

According to metaphysics: Orange represents vitality and endurance and is often considered the color of Lady Luck. It is linked to the second Chakra, located at the pelvic region, and governs the sexual organs and spleen. An imbalance in this chakra can lead to emotional instability, manipulation, an obsession with sexual thoughts, or a lack of energy.
