The clavicle, or collarbone, is a long, slender bone that connects the sternum at the center of the chest to the scapula (shoulder blade) on either side. It acts as a strut, holding the shoulder out from the body and allowing for a wide range of arm movements. The clavicle also helps protect important blood vessels and nerves that pass from the neck to the arm. By providing structural support and stability to the shoulder, the clavicle is a key component in the mechanics of the upper body.
Human Bone Laws & Information:
In short, it is perfectly legal to possess and sell human bones in the United States. There are a few exceptions to this: a few states have banned import and export, and of course, any archaeological resources protected by the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
