Evan and Caitlin Chambers lost their home and all of their possessions to the Eaton Fire in Altadena. They were able to evacuate with their small children, Edie and John, and their three dogs, but had to leave everything else behind - their clothes, their tools, and anything that provides any sort of comfort or sense of normal. They also lost the home studio that they built over the last three years. If you know Evan and Caitlin, you know how important that is to their livelihood.

The Hanging Dandelion is fabricated with hand-cut copper cutouts and clear blown glass. Copper ceiling mount, that can be cut to customized length.

The Dandelion Collection doesn’t conform to any category of art or time in design, because it fluidly slips into and out of so many. Simple but still magical, with balanced proportions and a nod to the past.  The hand blown glass pouring out of the cutouts magnifies the light, creating patterns. It’s beautiful. 

These designs are part of an ongoing collection, and stamped with an edition number. Each handmade piece has individual, unique characteristics inherent to the materials, and as made by me.
