There’s something a little unsettling about a praying mantis. Maybe it’s the way they turn their heads to look directly at you. Maybe it’s those enormous grasping arms covered in spikes. Or maybe it’s the fact that they’re extremely efficient predators wrapped up in a body that looks like it was assembled from leftover insect parts.

Praying mantises are ambush predators that rely on camouflage and a whole lot of patience to catch their prey. Once something gets within range, those folded front legs snap forward with remarkable speed, trapping the unfortunate meal between rows of sharp spines.

Each specimen is unique and may vary slightly in size, coloration, and positioning.

All orders ship same or next business day with exception to oversized items. Those items will be identified in the description (Items such as large taxidermy, skulls or exceedingly heavy minerals).
