This Cassini 1790 Old World Globe is a true center piece and crafted with exceptional skill. It measures approximately 5.5 inches wide by 10.8 inches tall.

This reproduction features printed maps copied from original ancient library documents dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. These early globes reflect the world as it was understood during a time when navigation relied on the sun, stars, and a simple compass to explore the edges of the known world—and beyond.

The globe is mounted on a solid mahogany, hand-turned stand, with polished brass fittings that allow it to smoothly rotate.
