A real sunset moth wing incased in a glass pendant.

All focal-pieces are constructed with lead-free silver solder and oxidized.

All necklaces are nickel-free, brass core with a gunmetal finish.

Nature really got carried away with this one. Despite looking like it flew straight out of a fantasy novel, the Sunset Moth is a true moth, not a butterfly, and its impossible rainbow colors aren't pigments at all but microscopic wing scales that bend light like a prism. Endemic to Madagascar, it's proof that sometimes reality is way cooler than fiction.

Due to the unique nature of butterfly, moth and other insect specimens, each necklace may vary in coloration and pattern. The one you receive will be very similar but some variation may occur. For questions about this, please feel free to contact us via our contact page.
