Libyan Desert Glass in Vial
Libyan Desert glass or Tektite is an impactite found in areas in the eastern Sahara, in the deserts of eastern Libya and western Egypt. But what is desert glass? Many believe it is the result of a meteorite impact that happened over 26 million years ago although this is debatable due to no evidence of said impact. Here's a fun fact about tektite: When King Tutankhamen's burial chamber was discovered in 1922, a very special pendant was located around the body of King Tut. Within the center of the charm was a near perfectly carved scarab. For nearly a decade after, the stone’s origins and locality remained a mystery until in 1932, P. Clayton officially discovered tektite. The ancient Egyptians most of thought highly of these interesting specimens to adorn one of their Pharos with at his burial.
According the Metaphysics: Tektite is a transformational stone that beings forth enhancing energies that directly resonate with one’s solar plexus, sacral, and third eye chakra. As one begins their own personal journey with this strange desert glass, exceptional qualities of oneself will begin to shine through the daily miasma of negative energy.
