The bushbuck is a shy, medium-sized antelope that lives all over sub-Saharan Africa. They’re usually found hanging out alone in forests or thick brush, sneaking around quietly. Think of them as the shy goth kid at school. They stick to their own company and generally don’t go to many after-school parties. Males are darker and have cool, twisted horns that vary from each individual — some have more of a spiral than others. The females are lighter and horn-free. They’re not picky eaters either; they’ll eat leaves, fruits, and twigs. You probably won’t see one unless you’re really looking. They’re pros at the hide-and-seek game.
