This real bird skeleton has been carefully cleaned and whitened, so even the tiniest bones and details can be inspected and studied. It’s encased in crystal-clear Lucite, making it easy to view from every angle.

The bird is a Scaly-Breasted Munia (Lonchura punctulata), also called a Spotted Munia. It’s often kept as a pet, where it goes by the names Nutmeg Mannikin or Spice Finch. Originally from Asia and India, this little bird has been introduced to other parts of the world.

As with all real skeletons in resin, size, color, and positioning may vary. You’re guaranteed a high-quality piece. The resin block measures approximately 5 1/4 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide.

All orders ship same or next business day with exception to oversized items. Those items will be identified in the description (Items such as large taxidermy, skulls or exceedingly heavy minerals).
