Inspired by the myth of Arachne, the talented young mortal weaver who challenged the goddess Athena with a weaving contest. However, after Athena realized that her skills were no match for the young Arachne, she shredded Arachne's beautiful tapestry into pieces and turned her into a spider so that she and her descendants would weave for all of eternity.

This Arachne amulet's abdomen is set with a handmade glass floating opal globe (made by the talented Nate at Profound Glass), which represents the pieces of Arachne's beautiful tapestry shredded by Athena.

All orders ship same or next business day with exception to oversized items. Those items will be identified in the description (Items such as large taxidermy, skulls or exceedingly heavy minerals).
