Our Piranhas are captured using traditional line-and-hook techniques in various streams and rivers in South America by locals generating income directly benefiting their communities. Employing this traditional method naturally limits the number of fish that can be taken and therefore makes certain that they are not over-harvested. The Piranhas are cured for several weeks, the eyes are added and natural pigments are used to mimic their native markings. The teeth are real and their fierce expression conjures stories of entire bovines being diminished to bones in seconds. This is a curiosity or gift that most anyone will enjoy.

All shells and sea life vary in size and shape. You will receive a high quality specimen of the selected item but not the exact one pictured. All sea life is guaranteed to be top quality; sourced from ethical vendors around the world.

All orders ship same or next business day with exception to oversized items. Those items will be identified in the description (Items such as large taxidermy, skulls or exceedingly heavy minerals).
