We’re looking for an organized, industrious self-starter to head up our Fulfillment Department as part of the Paxton Gate management team. Please submit a cover letter and resume detailing your experience and why you think you’d be an excellent candidate for the position described below.

The right candidate will come equipped to coordinate the shipping-receiving operations for our retail store, work in concert with our buyer, help support a growing website, carry out the processing of daily orders, receiving and stocking merchandise, light customer service, and other related tasks. We are looking for someone who can be relied on to effectively self-direct and independently complete tasks every day in a timely manner.

Basic Description

• Carefully and efficiently process all incoming and outgoing shipments, including unpacking, checking in, vouchering, tagging, quality control, processing claims for damages/lost shipments, packing and shipping of web orders.
• Keep the stockroom and back stock areas clean, organized, and accessible.
• Work with Office Manager to reorder supplies needed to perform duties.
• Communicate with customers regarding out-of-stock items and other general questions about orders.
• Coordinate with the management team for incoming shipments as needed for planning.
• Work with Buyer and Store Manager in conducting regular stock-counts and full store inventory counts.

Required Skills & Experience

• One to five years’ experience in Shipping/Receiving/Fulfillment or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis as well as occasional work on ladders.
• Computer savvy, familiarity with Microsoft Office, ability to quickly to learn software.
• Must be good with numbers and able to process data accurately and without error.
